Well, at least it is good to see that I’m not the only one to see Windows Vista for the steaming pile of garbage that it is. I started researching Vista’s DRM, performance issues, system requirements and other “features” months before it came out and decided that I would continue my Linux migration long before I moved to Vista. The only reason I’m interested in getting a Vista system is so that I can learn it to support it. I’m not all that excited about anything that Vista has to offer.

If you repair your Windows installation, it breaks the “stealth” update and you can’t get Windows Update to work correctly again. Weeeee….. what fun.

Several Web sites are reporting that Microsoft may be applying secret patches to Windows without users consent or knowledge. Very Interesting. Need to keep an eye on this developing story.
